CHADO RALPH RUCCI SS13

Ralph Rucci is best known for his Chado Ralph Rucci line of luxury clothing and accessories. "Chado" comes from the Japanese tea ceremony and is a tribute to Rucci's focus on detail and sense of austere style. He was raised in Philadelphia and holds a degree from Temple University and furthered his design studies at FIT. Training under Halston and Balenciaga, he launched Chado Ralph Rucci in 1994 and began to show at New York Fashion Week in 1999. He has been honored by the fashion press, with international exhibitions, with being invited to show in Paris Haute Couture shows as well as having been nominated twice by the CFDA for Womenswear Designer of the Year.
